Questions About Gutter Cleaning
Late spring and late fall are the usual times. Houses in wooded areas may need it more often.
We've been serving the area since 2001 with hundreds of satisfied customers. Most of our customers recommend us to their friends and neighbors.
Every house is different, but we always give free and accurate estimates. Sometimes, if you can describe your house, we can give an estimate over the phone.
No. We use state-of-the-art equipment, including ladder stabilizers (stand-offs) so the ladder never touches the gutter.
No. They seem like a good idea, but in most cases they are not. Most of these products will keep large leaves out, but they still allow pine needles, stems, maple seeds("helicopters"), etc. to get in. Whatever doesn't get in the gutter just collects on top of the screening, causing a big mess, which forces the water to roll over the top. This can lead to ice dams, heavy icicle build-up, roof and basement leaks, etc. Some of the expensive gutter guards cannot be removed to clean them when they do clog up; Bees, wasps, mosquitoes, birds, and other pests take advantage of this. Gutters should be left wide open to ensure that they can work the way they were designed to. (see photos)
